Dr. Azalia Boyd, DVM — Lead Veterinarian
Dr. Boyd brings over 16 years of experience in emergency medicine, surgery, dentistry, and comprehensive wellness care. A graduate of Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, she has served in senior leadership roles across the veterinary field and is a recognized industry speaker and host of the Critters and Cultures podcast. She founded Legacy on a simple standard: medical excellence without ego, and care that honors both the animal and the person who loves them.
Richard Saturday — Hospital Manager
With 30 years of experience in veterinary practice management, Richard has dedicated his career to building teams and systems that prioritize patient care and the client experience. His roots in veterinary medicine run deep, beginning at age 12, when he worked alongside his mother in a veterinary clinic. At Legacy, he ensures that every part of the hospital operates with the same intention and integrity that drives the care we provide.
