Meet Richard Saturday

Our Team

Richard Saturday serves as Hospital Manager at Legacy Veterinary Hospital, bringing more than 30 years of hands-on veterinary experience to the team. His connection to the field began at just 12 years old, working alongside his mother in a veterinary clinic—a foundation that shaped both his work ethic and his passion for the profession.

Over the course of his career, Richard has led every facet of hospital operations, from scheduling and client experience to financial systems, compliance, and staff development. He has guided practices through significant transitions, including the move from independent to corporate ownership—experience that gives him a clear and thoughtful perspective on why Legacy’s independent model matters.

At Legacy, Richard’s role is both simple and essential: to ensure that the hospital’s day-to-day operations reflect the same care, intention, and integrity that define its medicine. By supporting the team and strengthening systems behind the scenes, he helps create a seamless, welcoming experience for pets and their families.

Outside the hospital, Richard enjoys staying active on local trails, playing soccer with his kids, and spending time with his two dogs, Drake and Ross.
